Judges

Independent, Criteria-Led Adjudication

The National Jury and an independent assurance firm oversee every stage of evaluation, the same rigour NITA-U applied in 2019 and 2021, now extended across both sectors.

National Jury

A senior panel drawn from government, the private sector and civil society adjudicates final shortlists.

All jury members complete conflict-of-interest declarations. No jury member may be linked to a nominee.

Jury composition will be published here once the Awards Committee confirms appointments (not yet finalised).

Independent Assurance Firm

Engaged before nominations open, the assurance firm observes the full process and issues a formal assurance report before the ceremony.

NITA-U engaged Ernst & Young for the 2021 edition; an equivalent firm is being engaged for 2026.

Conflict of Interest Policy

Every judge declares any conflict of interest before scoring begins. A judge linked to a nominee, whether by employment, board membership, family or financial interest, is automatically excluded from scoring that nomination, enforced directly in the Judge Portal.

Are you a nominated judge?

Judges are invited directly by the secretariat. If you've received an invitation, sign in to the Judge Portal to view your assigned nominations and submit scores.
